Saturday Storytimes
No registration necessary.
Saturday Storytimes with Miss Kim or Miss Sandy are held on the first and third Saturday of the month. Please meet in the Community Room of the Library. Geared toward ages 2-4 years but everyone is welcome.

Preschool Playtime!

Ages 3-5 will enjoy playing with others! We provide building, sorting & other toys during this fun monthly get-together. This monthly activity helps re-establish playtime and socialization for both parents and children. No registration necessary for this event. Meet in the Community Room of the library.
Philosophy With Children
Monday, May 11th at 6pm
What does it mean to be a good friend? What makes someone or something beautiful? What’s the difference between adults and children?
This 45 minute program will help teach young children to begin to think critically. This ultimately leads to better understanding of themselves and the world around them, along with improving their communication skills. This program is for ages 8-11.
Molly O’Rourke-Friel, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Ursinus College. She, along with undergraduate students, will begin by engaging young minds using literature, music or visual art, to begin a philosophical conversation.

Maya’s Mission Of Kindness

Children in Kindergarten through second grade will learn how to promote kindness and anti-bullying in this free 45 minute program. This program is the culmination of work by Maya, earning her Girl Scout Silver Award, in cooperation with the Lower Providence Optimist Club.

A Crack In Time: The Dinosaur and the Bell

It’s America’s 250th Anniversary! Opening a time capsule unearths a HUGE surprise, as a T-REX is unleashed upon the City of Philadelphia! This is a live puppet show, certain to entertai the entire family. Stick around after the performance as Pupppeteer ‘Mom-Mom Nonna’ shows children how the magic happens.

DJ Mix-Up Improv For Kids

Get ready to “Unearth” some COMEDY! This two-man comedy Improv stars the Podcast Duo, Dan (Stabb) & Jason (Langin). Geared for the whole family, Pre-K through 4th Graders will really ‘DIG’ this funny, fast moving improv comedy, that includes members of the audience. No registration. FREE & open to the public.
