Summer reading programs are for adults too.  This summer, be a part of the Lower Providence Library Adult Summer Reading Program.  It’s as simple as writing a short review of a book you have recently read.  We will then post your review on our summer reading bulletin board and your name will be placed in our raffle box.  Each Monday morning a raffle winner will be chosen.  Prizes are $10 gift cards to either Starbucks, Turkey Hill or Wawa.  The raffle box and review forms are located at the reference desk.

One of my Mother’s Day gifts was Gwyenth Paltrow’s latest cookbook, It’s All Easy.  If you enjoy healthy cooking and looking at enticing pictures of food, then this is the book for you.  It’s also nice that the recipes are somewhat easy and don’t require endless ingredients.

For all you Harry Potter fans, circle July 31 in your calendar. That’s when Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be released.  This book is the eighth story in the Harry Potter Series and picks up 18 years after the seventh book.  We find Harry working for the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three children.  Written by J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will also be presented as a play in London’s West End.
